Hmm........... I am still asking my self if i really need to memorise the so-called wordlist It must be an exercise that either comes with fun or is not funny at all (if you know what i mean). Certainly, i have over three thousand words there. even if i assume that i already know half (which seems quite unlikely, though i haven't checked), 1500 is still much. And to think that i have got only three months of active preparation left (.......sounds more like passive preparation to me). Anyway.........lets get down to work. Hopefully i will get a chatmate with whom i will practice my new words with. i really hope i am the better for it.............. at the end of this exercise. And come to think of it......what is the probabilty (or expectation) of meeting any of these words in the actual test. I hope it's up to 75% for what it's worth.

Am out.

Preparing for the GRE and TOEFL

For some time now, i have been devoting any available time(i sometime wonder if there's any)
to preparing for GRE as well as TOEFL. I am doing a side-by-side preparation as i am doing both tests in the same month. I have been told several times that TOEFL is a piece of cake compared to GRE and as such, i should focus more on GRE. But i payed almost the same amount for both. Why then should i take chances in my preparation? Anyway, never mind my rationalization. It's all well. I am about to get down to the Power Prep CD. The one thing that i can afford to take for granted as of now is the Quantitative, but even that is on my top priority. I mean......I might as well score a perfect in Quantitative and let other factors(the ones i can't control) rule the verbal and analytical writing sections. I haven't gotten materials for TOEFL yet, but i hope to get them in good time.

Ciao.
